I prefer the 50lb here up north. I think it’s perfect for casting distance, especially needed for clearer water and sparser vegetation

I prefer McCoys xtra clear copoly for all my cranking. Great line at a great price, made here in the USA. I use 12lb for most all my cranking, unless I am throwing squarebills in and around thick cover (which I don’t do very often) then I’ll step up to 15 or 17 lb test.

I do not believe they are made anymore but I have an older semper fi Handle that fits great on my Shimano’s
