Nice!
I have a basket case tdz all torn down ready for paint, was thinking a white pearl or metal flake... seeing yours confirms that is the color to go with.

Re: Show us your Sol

Very nice. How about an orange or purple cast control cap? Maybe.. I have a couple orange ccc kicking around somewhere.. I liked the simple look/mods on these reels for some reason.. TDZ handles, compressed cork knobs, 7.2 gears and the SV spool so far. I need to get the fast worm shaft yet.. Thank...

Re: New kayaks!!

Thanks for the replies everyone! I've been looking around and I think I'm leaning towards the NRS Ninja for it's compact size. For now we are rocking the standard orange boat vest. I did pick up a couple of rod holders from RailBlaza: https://www.railblaza.com/blog/railblaza-tracmount-pack-for-wilde...

New kayaks!!

Hello everyone! Totally new to the kayak world..we just picked up a couple Tarpon 100's from the outdoor shop I work at part time. https://www.tacomaworld.com/media/kayak_2018.606734/full For my first question...What does everyone like for pfd's? Re: Baits bloating

I had some baits swell when they were left in my garage during the summer.. Some Imakatsu and Jackall. But it looks like all baits could be affected.

Now I keep everything inside the house when not in use. When fishing I keep everything below deck or covered up.

Re: Used round reels ????

Love the round reels as well. I have a M-Ito, IZE Light, Conquest 51S and Cardiff 51SDC.

I'll be looking to add more of the Daiwa CV-Z platform in the future..Lots of parts interchangeability makes them very attractive :D

Re: Daiwa J-Braid Opinions

I used the 65lb on a couple bait casters for big pike. While it is very strong and holds knots well I also found that it held a ton of water! So much that it took only a couple casts/retrieves to totally drench the reel and my hand. It also bled like crazy. I've only used Power Pro in lighter tests ...
