Re: 13 Fishing Omen
I just did a comparison handling the these rods or you can say fondling them at the store with reels on them. Too bad I did not have my Dobyns 744c and 704c to throw into the mix. New GLX BRC 855C Blue NRX 854 JWR Blue NRX 855 JWR St. Croix Legend Elite 7'0" MH 13 Envy Black 7'3" Heavy GL2 844 (for...

Re: Kistler klx?
Can anyone elaborate a little more on the 13 fishing Omen vs the KLX? I currently own 2 Omens and love em to death. Honestly theyre my fav rods atm. Was looking to add another rod or two to the collection and the KLX seem like an outstanding value! I was specifically looking to add one for Carolina...

Re: KLX... don't be shy
Has anyone used these specifically for carolina rigs? I need 1 more rod to complete my line up. I used to have a Veritas for this duty but was less than impressed. I have zero confidence in this technique so I'm looking for a rod that can help me buildit up. Looks like they have the 7'3" heavy on sa...

Re: Okuma Helios
Love my helios reels. Bought a couple more a while back when Cabelas had them for 149.
I own several TDZs, steez, PQ, lews TP pro etc. Okuma is my favorite. Just as smooth, reasonable weight, and I personally prefer how easy it is to adjust the brakes.

Was just about to post a topic askign about these.
Still very impressed with my omen rods but these seem to be a hell of a value for around $150.

Have 2!
My favorite reels so far! For reference I have PQ, Steez, 3 TDZ, Lews TP, Lews BB1, Chronarch.
Cabelas near me was selling them for 150!

Re: Who has the new BB1?
Just got mine! Got it in the lowest ratio I believe 5:1:1. It feels really well built! The one thing I did notice is that it is literally packed with grease! Excessively. Havent had a chance to fish it yet (Its been windy and rainy here in AZ) but I'm hoping to get some time with it next week. Gonna...

Re: Cashion Casting Rods
Any other comments?
Several things seem to pop up when I look for info on these. First there seems to be major QC issues. Also they seem to be rated much heavier than they are. However and most interesting despite those issues everyone seems to comment how sensitive these rods are.

Re: Favorite 6 ft or less square bill
My favorite is the Lucky Craft RC series with Strikeking a close second. Seen a lot of good reviews on Tackle Warehouse for the 6th Sense Crush 50X , anyone use these baits ? Just ordered a bunch hoping to try them soon. Initial impressions are very positive! Paint job is really nice and the hook s...

Re: Best punch bait?
What are you targeting when punching?
Are you targeting pockets in the thick stuff? Or just using heavy weight to get underneath it? Both?
Sorry I've never punched before. Not even sure if any of our lakes in AZ have thick enough stuff to be considered 'punching.'

Re: BPS Pro Qualifier 6.4:1
I love to mountain bike! Love it! But like every other hobby I've ever done there is always a certain amount of elitism that comes along with it. If you're not riding the newest best boutique carbon super dooper bike you'll get looks and comments. I laugh when I pass these people on the trails. Fish...
