Re: Reel pairing for my Kistler
If you don't have a budget look at the Daiwa Zillion 7.1:1. If you do have a budget I like the Revo STX better than the Curado E7. But you might check out the Smoke it has been getting a lot of hype lately.

Eakin's Jig - Love it or Hate it?
I would say that the Eakin's Jig in Texas Craw with a Zoom Fat Albert Twin Tail in green pumpkin has quickly become my favorite all purpose jig. Anybody feel the same or hate it for that matter?

I wonder how they achieved the rate of fall. I have thrown a lot of jigs and that is crazy slow!

Re: If you could use only ONE brand of hardbait...
Strike King. They produce a very large assortment of baits for all types and conditions for bass. Quality IMO is second to none (maybe LC, Megabass, other JDM Baits are more refined). I have always had true running baits from them. My favorite are the Series 3 and 5 in Sexy Shad. I have one Series 3...

Re: Favorite Propbait
Buzzjet Jr........ You know I love the Buzzjet Jr but I have never managed to even get a follow up on it. So I would have to go with the skitter prop . I have caught tons of fish on that bait. I bought my fiance 2 of the Buzzjet Jr's in Cherry Blossum and on 2 seperate occasions she caught over 25 ...

Re: Easiest retrieving Deep Diver
I would agree on the Series 6 as being easier to retrieve. What rod and reel are you using? That also can make a differnce, you could be using too light of a setup.

Re: SPRO LITTLE JOHNS AND BIG JOHNS PROBLEMS
That sucks that you had problems. I have had nothing but good luck with those so far. However I have only fished the Little John 1/2oz. Don't give up on them yet.

Re: Opinions on Sebile Magic Swimmer
Don't worry about not seeing a specific blog and someone calling you out on it. I have spent hours looking through these and still haven't read them all and definitely don't remember them all. That said, I like the Magic Swimmer and have had average success with it. I think it looks better than it p...

Re: Paint chipping on frame
wow you got them to last that long before chips and scratches. I am working on some reels that are less than 2 years old with that. I have some 4 or 5 year old advantages that have started to chip. All my bps reels especially my extremes, the frames chip terribly.
