Mine did that as well. You have three choices:

- Glue the foam grip in place
- Get a new knob (and risk the same happening again)
- Replace the foam knob with a septon one.

I took the last option on both my CI4's.

I fish 4" and 5" grubs in wood cover. Rig on Gammy or Hyabusa 3/0 and 4/0 EWG's.

Been using both solid and laminates for years and cannot say that one is worse than the other. Durability of both sucks :evil: . But they flat out catch em. =D>
