Re: 88 Degrees

Re: medium vs medium light heavy kistler helium 3, or other option?

I have the zbone LEXF-3MH-70 and I gotta say your going to love it. I use mine for jerkbaits up to an ounce in weight, topwater & as a fluke rod. It has handled largemouth up to 8.75 so far without any problems. The tip is soft enough to keep treble bait hooked fish buttoned up without any problems....

Knowing the amount of line out will help you dial in the depth of the baits your using. Max depth for most diving baits is achieved with around 270 feet ou...

I have 5 different certate models and never have needed to adjust any shims/washers. You should be good to spool up & go fishing.

Re: Enough with the tackle. LETS SEE SOME FISH!

Yes I would guess she had already spawned. Though in FL some fish will still spawn into April. They start early in November but most of the spawning is in Jan/Feb.

Re: IGFA rated lines

Also, there is no line that is verified by the IGFA as meeting their requirements. The line is verified after the catch as part of the record qualification process, as it has always been. Correct but as a member you can submit a line sample to have it tested for compliance before fishing for a reco...

Re: Sunline Defier Armilo vs Sufix Advance?

I have fished the Defier Armilo for about two years in 13, 15, 19, 22 & 25lb tests. It's strength & abrasion resistance have been good. It's stiffness & coiling have been problematic as others have mentioned. The fact it has only been available in 165 yd spools adds to its costliness. I searched fo...
