I understand that it was pushed past its limits in the amazon but when u said the screw backed out and the brakes broke I was kind of turned off by the reel. I have a quantum reel you buy as a set from basspro and pushed that reel way past its limits and it held up very well. Do you think the review...

been looking around for a MGX lefty but only seen these on ebay. and they are only avaiable from malaysia or japan. are they legit? i havent seen them on abu's web site yet and missed a couple for sale on the forums. would apreaciate if someone can point me in the right direction thanks

Good news. The LTX is here. Initial test casts show that it casts the light 2gm lure very easily. Will get down to testing it more thoroughly when I have free time with different weight lures and compare ease of casting, controllability against backlashes and distances achieved. The only reason a fishing reel screw can get over threaded would be of over tourqing or defective parts. I just cant see it coming apart due to regular maintenance or use. i have the steez but in the 7ft version. it is light and very well balanced. the MH rating is spot on. ive never tried the megabass since its way over my budget
