I also tried one two times for a total of half an hour. Not nearly enough of a test for a definite conclusion, but I caught nothing on it. Active bass and panfish were present, and I caught a few small bass on other surface or shallow lures. I'll be trying it again.

My main concern is whether in tying knots, line would catch on the material reinforcing the ends of the glove fingers. (I tie lots of knots in a typical fishing day.) This sentence is no help: "They are cut far back enough so that tying a lure is easily accomplished while taking the gloves off....
