Daiwa Certate
Does that reel comes with extra spool these days?
When I purchased that reel in Cabelas couple years ago it didn't have any. But in new Daiwa 2006-2007 catalog it says what it has an extra one.

Re: G loomis technology
Does any one know where I can get weight of GLoomis GLX blanks and rods? Why official site doesn't post that info
Just wanted to compare them to others top line rod/blanks makers.

Re: G loomis technology
I would add Talon and their Professional series.
Most advanced american company for today.
I'm talking here only about blanks.
IMO high-end company always makes better product overall in any area.

Re: Which 'ultra light' reel?
Currently planning on getting a reel for ultra light fishing. Mainly targeting trout. Was going to get a Daiwa Tierra but then I was reminded of the Okuma VS which has gone down in price since its introduction. Both reels appear to be excellent value for money. Daiwa Tierra vs Okuma VS The Shimano ...

Re: JDM reels: Are we being ripped off?

They charge people same price no matter where customer lives , here or overseas. Same prices in its retail stores, some times even online price ...
