Re: Megabass Phase 3 F6-69X Super Destroyer

I hit submit too fast. It's an F6 rod, so I use it for heavier applications. I use it for under spins and spinner baits with trailers up to one ounce. For me it's a bit too stout personally to be an all around versatile rod, but I use it frequently. Handles <3lb fish easily. I'm putting my girls to ...

Re: Megabass Valkyrie Rods

Whatever the handle may do, I think those look pretty sweet. I like Eva and a split grip now and again and I'm glad that new reel seat has not completely taken over. I especially like the lock nut assembly. I'm not a fan of everything starting to look plastic on everything and this rod looks pretty ...

One more thing--while I will now and again get a bite on still water, they shine when there's a little chop on the water.

Re: Under Spin 101

Underspins are and have been for years my go to confidence bait. I fish them year round in central fl. Most FL lakes are shallow and even on them I tend to fish the shallows. I use owner flashy swimmers 3/16 oz primarily and zappu pile driver in 4/0 hook size. Any plastic really will work, but my fa...

Suspect found along banks acting suspiciously Bed 1.jpg Weapon found rod.jpg Red handed Bed 3.jpg I've had more success bank fishing the beds this year. Two things I'm trying. My shorter and visually more acute daughter spots them and tells me where to cast. The no drag set up with the DR 100 just t...

A whole new line-up is coming up in 2018. Better blanks, better guides, with jigging handle available (for extra $) https://www.facebook.com/hajime.murata.39/videos/1615771795182702/ Yes, these are killing me. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=A0PuArBhKbU Just snuck a new rod in the house today. Check out the link to the adm site. With the spool size difference, does not seem likely.

Re: Concept Z initial impressions. Did I expect too much?

Thank you ScoobyDoo for initiating this thread and your excellent work field testing. Having read this I've learned not only about the concept z, but also quite a bit about reels in general from your knowledgeable responses throughout. Based on your video and this thread, I can't see any bias In you...

Re: AUDM Tackle Reviews

Hey guys, I have noticed a few threads lately about Australian tackle, specifically reels, and was wondering would people like to see reviews of these said reels on an AUDM review thread? Living in Australia and working at a tackle distribution company it would be easy for me to do so. I'd like thi...

I think the author is disappointed that a new millionaire is not coming out and some of the nuances, perhaps sarcasm, etc., are not translating. I think. I also would be pleased with that new ryoga.

Re: Shimano World Shaula

Considering the price of the Conquest line, for example, these are priced fairly well considering the technology. For those who like a good looking rod (this guy O:) ), it looks about right on target. The search for the ultimate travel rod becomes more complex as I continue following and enjoying th...

Re: Broken Rod Streaks

Yes; Went though one recently. Had not broken a rod in decades. Then legend elite dock flipping a 4 pounder carelessly. Hemmed and hawed about sending it in for their pay for the guides warranty broken-which is cool anyway given it was my fault. While that one was sent in, broke a legend tournament ...
