Re: 2019 Daiwa Morethan PE 1000 TW

^ Hope not. Because if it is so, what's the difference between Steez A vs. new Morethan? Price tag and appearance with kevlar decals? (I suppose that there's no 2x speed level wind in new Morethan.) If in Morethan is same spool than Steez A, only idea for that in my opinion is to take thick monofil...

Re: 2019 Daiwa Morethan PE 1000 TW

Correction: looks like A is also with mag seal bearings. I can’t find it, but might be a slight difference in the drag.

Re: 2019 Daiwa Morethan PE 1000 TW

Any insights on the gears? Brass vs Alu? I want to purchase a new reel for my heavy jig rod and I think I will be choosing between the 8.XX version of the 2019 Morethan and the Steez A. Is it correct to say that the frame is the same between the two, the only difference are optics and a longer hand...

Wow! My Thai Morethan is jealous...
As far as I’m concerned, same quality, different food served at factory cafeteria.

Re: Megabass Valkyrie Rods

I got the 7’1” heavy in and I’m glad I went in this direction for sure. I know someone mentioned that the adjustable handle seemed more of a gimmick and I think that it’s definitely not. IMHO the handle is what gives the rod versatility and balance. I put a Steez SV on it but not with an SV spool. ...

Came sooner than expected. Just so happens I had a rod waiting. This should work. Will report back when it's no longer as shiny.

Re: Jerkbait rod

Maybe not everyone's ideal, but I pulled out the megabass P3 Elseil to do work with a jerkbait this weekend. Trying some vision 110 Rs I received under the tree. First time for me with this variant of the 110. I got back to FL yesterday and to my surprise I was unable to scare up a bite with anythin...

Re: Megabass Valkyrie Rods

Sooooo I ordered the 7’4” But I think I should have ordered the 7’1” and I may have to order it in addition to the one I have coming I tend to get longer rods. I will know in a short while if it’s worth it or not to get the shorter Stick. I will spend the weekend with it. I have a Steez sv without ...

Re: Steez CT SV TW

I wonder if they stick with this whole T-wing/CT/SV TW style that we will ever get another SS/SV style. Would be cool to see a Steez SV TW (CT or regular) with a cheaper frame material like Zaion for a cheaper than premium price. It would be a cool way to get people into the higher end Daiwa's with...

Re: I Can't Explain It

Sorry; don’t know if you’re from FL. You sure those aren’t bigger sized gar swimming away with your jig? I’m away this week to get some cold for the holidays, but right before leaving home the gar bite was way outnumbering the bass. They just grab the bait and swim with it and hooking up with a jig ...

I guess the thing you posted yesterday showing a possible new ss sv would be this new ct steez?
