The JDM Aird reels are Alpha based but if I am not mistaken they do not have the Magforce type braking but a very basic centrifugal brake. They are made for SW jigging with PE line. TD-Z 100M is a good choice. I very happy with the Chronarch D5 for deep diving cranks. Daiwa Sol for shallow to Med. is what I use.
