just learn how to do it, throwing 1/4 ounce baits on a MedHeavy is certainly not out of the ordinary.

just learn how to throw lighter lures on it. i have a friend who has been known to throw 1/8oz Texas rigs on a 7' H action rod. its not like it cant be done, just get used to doing it......then get a rod meant for lighter stuff later down the road
