Daiwa Presso

I have a Daiwa Presso, and lately I have been having a lot of fun with it. Great little reel! I had put new Abec7 spool bearings in it and it seems as time goes on it's loosening up little by little. Anyway, really enjoying this little micro baitcaster and was just wondering who else here has one an...

Re: New Fuego Baitcaster

How did this post go from a Fuego to an Alphas? I just want a reel to throw cranks that I don't throw that often anyway. Just don't want an expensive reel sitting in the rod locker. Could you not have mentioned that from the get go? You pot stirrer! :big grin: I'd go with the Tat if that's the case...

Re: spinnerbait trailer

I use 5" single tail grubs (usually Kalin's) to bulk it up or I like to use Culprit 6" worms for a little action tail.

Re: Good trailer for swim jig?

[quote="IAY"]I just tried out lunker city swim fish and they are surprisingly good. [quote] Swimfish has some body roll to it, don't it? I use these a lot on just a weighted hook. Never thought of sticking one on a jig. Lunker City has another interesting option too...the 4.25" Grubster or maybe eve...

Re: Finesse Casting Reel suggestions

Thanks for the reply Booty. Appreciate it. Do you know if the JDM Daiwa Alpha SV IS legitimate finesse reel ? I see some talk it up as a finesse caster while others seem to often overlook it when talking finesse casting reels. Yes the alphas sv is a legitimate finesse reel. Stock for stock it will ...

I think the early models had the drilled/slotted shafts. One of mine has the same shaft.

Re: New Fuego

Well?? Who's got one? I saw somebody had 2 ea of the different gear ratio models for sale on ebay last week. All gone now. I almost bought one but decided I'd try a T3 first.

OY! That's downright ugly. I don't bother with them anymore, I just get to cuttin' right away. Credit goes where due, good job pulling it out. =D>

You could easily spool it with heavier weights. I never tried for max distance with what I was throwing but I could cast it as far as I wanted to without much effort.

The PM-100 is the one that gave me some trouble. I'll have to work with that one a bit.

My Revo LTX

I will preface this post by saying that for the most part I'm a pretty solid Daiwa fan. I just started getting into BFS casters recently and stumbled into a pretty good buy on this Revo LTX and bought it last winter. I have added OS7 spool bearings to it. I finally tried it out this weekend and heck...
