Re: Daiwa Project T
Over on the "Tatula" rod thread, bassinmaumee stated he had a chance to demo both rod and reel. Magforce Z, 150 retail, 200 for the Type R. Perhaps he can chime in to tell us some more -

Re: Fuji Ez Keepers leave tiny marks
Rod finishes are going to scratched at some point and time. Drop it, set it down to quick, just not paying attention - bank fishing at times in my case. I like the EZ keepers, they keep trebles away from my rod which can cause much more damage to the finish than an O Ring. I've only noticed small, f...

It appears Tackletrap only sells these in packages of 4. Where can I source only two?ninjaman wrote:It is the standard Shimano/daiwa size 4x7x2.5mmHogsticker2 wrote:I want to add 2 more bearings to the handle. Can someone tell me what size I need -

Re: Kistler Customer Service... WOW!
Thought the title was a joke, Kistler hasn't been known for their CS in the past. Agreed. They have a pretty bad rep on the 'net. And I knew that going into buying a custom NFC rod from them earlier this year. My experience with them was nothing short of horrible, and I'm left with a rod they refus...

Re: Scorpion or STX
The Scorpion picks up 23.5 inches per turn on a full spool. I just ordered an XT 1001 today. Wouldn't consider the STX based on reviews and playing with one at Cabelas.

Re: Kistler Customer Service... WOW!
Sure it does... They send you the right one in the first place lol... I'm glad to hear a positive, maybe he got kicked in the nads' enough from the worst CS ever in the past, as well as the "Made in America" stickers on the "Made in China" rods.. I'm glad your happy with them, competition is a good...

Re: Daiwa Project T
I actually went through all 18 pages cause I'm in the market for a new reel. When is ICAST again and is there a time frame on release date? ICAST is mid July, release date? Who knows. Could be as early as August, could be as late as November. With all the project T videos, marketing and buzz about ...

Re: Daiwa Project T
I forgot about that. What Shimano rods are you not able to put the Lexa on? Have you attempted to mount one on a Zillion, 13, or ECS reel seat? okay, i just checked. actually, the lexa fits on the fuji ECS and ACS seats just fine. it also fits the previous generation cumara that i have. i don't hav...

Re: Daiwa Project T
I have read on two other sites that I've never heard of when searching Daiwa Tatula that this reel is going to be priced beneath the Lexa 100. Anyone buy into that? It does have a rather cheap looking drag star and thumb bar. I can't see this, but I don't think it's gonna be over 200 bucks.

Re: How much better is the Scorp over the Chron
I just want to throw this out there. I'm still debating as I need another reel, and excuse me if this is a bit off topic but rather than starting another thread - If I go Shimano I want the Scorpion. However, I just started using my Fuego with regularity and have become quite fond of it. I put the ...

Re: Daiwa Project T
DE_bass_enthusiast, no worries. cal, i'd appreciate it if, in your review, you address the reel foot. if daiwa moves towards the foot that's on the lexa, i'm not buying any more daiwas. the lexa won't fit on my new shimano rods and barely mounts on my phenix M1 (not sure about my other rods but thi...
