Re: Monster perch!
The big perch fight like the largemouth. After the largemouth, the perch is by far my favourite game fish. The zander is actually a 'lazy' fighter. The smaller ones don't usually put up a fight after the first run. But pound for pound, the perch is still the hardest fighter ;) A big thank you to you...

Re: snaping turtle!!!
Wow  I've caught one many years ago. I was fishing with a crankbait and thought I'd snag the lure. But when I was trying to free it, the snag sort of moved and started to swim. I was fighting an unknown object for about 10 minutes before this beast surfaced. I bet it must have been like 30lb ...

Monster perch!
Was out fishing this morning and caught this pig! I was pitching a light Texas rig 3" YoMama craw at a relatively deep pool by the creek. I'd actually miss the fish from a badly timed hook-set. Re: High End 2pc Casting Rod??
Try Shimano World Shaula http://fishing.shimano.co.jp/product/rod/1675
As far as I know, they are the best 2 piece rods out there today. They don't come cheap though and costs about the same as most hi-end 1pc Evergreen and Megabass bass rods.
