Travel Rod Help!
Hey TT, Lately I've been looking for a higher end baitcast travel rod. I have the orochi xxx travel spinning rod and it's awesome. I wanted the casting version in the black elseil travel, but seems a little too light in power for my needs. Are there any other options out there? I looked hard at the ...

Re: New rod assistance
I have the 904 conquest and throw both of those lures on it. I run braid or braid to leader as well and have no issues. For true heavy cover or strictly frogging, I think the 905 would be a better choice because of the extra power. Disclaimer though, I prefer the mbr type actions like the 843 for th...

Another vote for the antares 70. Paired mine up with a conquest 903 and have thrown everything on it.

Re: Nrx 852c jwr
Personally, I think a 3 power would handle the 3/8 ounce + plastic better. I liked that rod for 1/8-1/4 plus plastic.
Re: Frog Rod
The Dobyns Champ 735c would be a good frog rod. Has a light enough tip where you can toss and work frogs well. Also has enough power in my opinion. Sensitivity won't be as good as the expride, but still enough for me.

Megabass Valdivia or Wild Bunch?
Hey TT, I need a versatile heavy powered rod and was considering between the Megabass Wild Bunch and the Valdivia. Looking to do a little bit of everything with the rod from frogging, pitch/flip, light arig/swimbait and jigs. Not looking to excel at a particular technique, just well rounded enough t...

Just picked up one after reading through the posts. Incredible reel to say the least. Currently running 2 brakes with braid. Effortless casting.

Re: MB Destroyer Javelin vs Poison Adrena MH
I think you'll be very happy with the Javelin. I've thrown med/deep cranks, spinnerbaits, big topwaters, bottom contact, and 168 Swavers without issue. Definitely my most versatile rod.
