Cool, that sounds like worth a try. I'm trying to work out what my options are, or whether this will be an impulse purchase. I suppose worst case, I've got a pretty good travel rod... Would you know how their power ratings run? Crud all that's left is the 6'6" M. Is that what i'm looking for anyway...

The rods came today. They look great, 8 days from Japan to my hand.....not bad.

The ZMan stuff floats and is extremely durable.

I'm into the tungsten stuff but the only issue is that most of the hooks on those Japanese JDM jigs are tiny compared to what we are used to.

My rof 12 swims lopsided but rof5 swims perfect. The rof5 can be reeled pretty quickly with rod tip down but that's not how this is meant to be fished. I used to absolutely hate 2 pc rods.....until I started fishing Major Craft rods. I can't tell that they are 2pc, so yes, they've made tremendous advancements in 2pc rods.
