just curious, where are the good deals on new NRX can be found? Looks like most of the well known online retails are not offering any discounts recently.

Re: What's next for Shimano???

Thank you for sharing. Clearly Scorpion is Curado K based, better MGL spool, a bit smaller handle knobs, I bet three will be at least 1 bearing per knob. Nice upgrade reel for those who like curado K. Antares reminds me Core 100 ergonomics, especially from palming cover side, beautiful reel. For COR...

Re: What's next for Shimano???

Much nicer looking on that picture, color is closer to scorpion 1000, 1500 models.
Can't figure out, it is based on curado K frame? Diffident color and 150 size MGL spool?
Antares looks amazing to me.

Re: Noisy Curado 201HG's

where you source the pinion bearing from? Most places are selling spool or knob bearings only. And one more question, will chronach 50E or citica 200e pinion fit to core 100 ? I am having issue with core 100 being rough on retrieve and gears looks to be in good shape, so I suspect pinon or AR bearin...

Re: Bantam MGL reviews?

how about advertised increased sensitivity of this reel due to solid body design?
Anyone feels it really helps to feel more, especially compared to magnesium reels?

hedghog ZR

Are hedghog ZR bearing considered to be an upgrade to Shimano stock? Or they are pretty much the same quality performance wise?

Re: Where are the shimanos?

Does this swept Met 13 handle fits without a problem with the original drag star or you needed any additional spacers? Thank you. Picked this little gem up this week. I've been searching for a nice shape D7 for a long time that wasn't 3 bills. Upgrades: CarbonTex Drag New Pinion and Drive Shaft Bear...

Re: Daiwa Zillion SV TW

Does it have brass gears or aluminum?Cant seem to find any info.. yes the zillion 1016sv does have brass gears, the only let down of the reel is not having a alloy sideplate and set plate. I don't see that as a negative. That's the main reason it's over an ounce lighter than the original. It's ever...

Re: G1 1012SV in an SS SV?

What type of line do you use with 1012SV spools? Will 16 lb fluorocarbon be too much?

Re: 2018 Curado DC (Merged Topic)

What is the spool weight in DC model? I see reports saying it is around 20 gm and it looks too heavy?
My primary focus would be 3/8 to 1/2 oz total weight for pitching plastic with 16-20 lb flouro, will I be better off getting regular Curado or Chronarch?
