The Aero seat design is great - I just wish they made them in larger sizes. They are too small for my hand.

Re: Seeking custom spinning rod handle pics
I recently built a rod on a CF handle, but offset the blank so it rested directly on the wall of the CF handle. I held the rod in place with an epoxied piece of graphite fabric. Perhaps it is subjective, but I find this much more sensitive than a blank placed in the center of a CF tube and held in p...

Re: Pic of Kigan guides please.
Kigan micros are very sturdy - cannot speak knowledgably about relative weight, but I have no concerns about guide failure under pressure (within reason)

I have not - you might want to see how easy it is to thread fishing line through such a small guide before wrapping it.

Re: Phenix T-46 available yet??
Vince,
I got the following quote from TT's iCAST coverage - is it correct?
"Phenix's target price range for their new K-2 series rods built from T-46 graphite rod blanks is $209 - $229."
Isn't that around the same price as the T-46 blanks?
Thanks,
Rick

Re: Building custom rods ...?
Good advice - do not expect to save money while rod building. You can expect, however, to be able to customize a rod to your (or your client's) liking. Placement and sizing of guides, choice of reel seat and handle, balancing the rod, placement of reel seat and handle, customizing your rod handle to...
