Re: Zillion sv TW 1000

I like the size. The Alphas looks like the reel to get for an affordable compact Daiwa. Just as it has always been. The 32mm spool allows the frame to be shorter and thats what the Lews reels do too. The 34mm spool will ensure that the Zillion is a bigger reel which is worth it to have 34mm spool co...

Re: SLP RCSB 1000 BOOST spool...

Neat vid. He gingerly casts that thing and the bait flies effortlessly. Not enough capacity to bombing bigger baits though. Seems to have similar characteristics to the fixed inductor AM spools (ZPI, Amo DIY ect). Efortless medium and short range casting but limited capacity to larger diameter lines...

Re: New Steez A TW HLC

A little shallower than I like for bombing frogs on 65# braid. TD Zillion HLC can already empty the spool on a cast and this appears shallower. Still interesting to see another 36mm platform.

Re: 17 Tatula SV TW spool swap

You want this one. I have one in my old Type R. It bombs baits and is basically a distance tuned SV spool. Not as good at skipping as a normal SV spool but is OK.

If the USDM one really has brass gears then here is our parts for brass conversion if needed...

I am being told the Zillion will be in a JDM & USDM version. JDM made in Japan Aluminum Gears and super smooth, little smaller handle probably 80mm. Us version brass gears, little longer handle.
Big if true

Looks like a Chinese manufactured $40 reel dressed up and sold to the unsuspecting masses at insane markup. This needs to stop.

Re: '19 Steez ct sv tw

I keep hearing how smooth the Steez CT is. Is the normal Steez the same or is is worse? Is the normal Stewz not particularly smooth? I've never gotten a. Steez TW for fear of it getting geary and no brass gears to swap in.

just got myself one brand new, is the spool tension quite loose in stock settings ?
Yep that is how they are advised to be used but you can tighten it up if you like.
