Actually it's a little bit above if it's judged as property :-)
More than meets the eye to it...the way I intended for both rod and reel.
More on both later. But you're right, it needs it's own write-up

Re: My last baitfinesse combo, probably...
This most probably be my last bait finesse setup, but...there'll never be another like it. http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/xx109/mcyl812/12EFC403-6618-43DB-84FE-1212AFDC434F_zps4t36cymy.jpg http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/xx109/mcyl812/54F04F63-E6A7-47C7-AAE4-0965BE0CE8B7_zpsh9mryaj2.jpg The r...

Re: KP Spool and why its cool
You guys will be able to own A, C, E, and KP reels and switch around the custom parts. The upgrades within the models are all based on MATERIAL upgrades for better performance while the overall Chassis remains the same. As a angler I wish that I could swap spools to change line...or go to a deeper ...

Which OEM design do you like more?
Seems to me there are two main reference designs to all the OEM reels out there. 1st one: long spool shaft used in reels such as okumas, quantums, 13, These reels have a Shimano like longer stemmed spool and characteristically use a dial type centrifugal brake. 2nd reference: seems to be the one Pur...

Re: Is the new curado I series better than the Lews reels?
Just another Doyo reel... :?: :-k The factory theyre made out of. Basically Shimano makes their reels out of Shimano plants in Japan and Malaysia, Daiwa makes their reels out of Japan and Thailand. The rest makes their reels out of 2 reference designs from 2 companies Banax and Doyo. Some place str...

Re: In your opinion: What's the best reel made by Daiwa toda
Z2020. Period. If they made a smaller version, it'd be the finest reel ever created. Yeppers....and give us an MG version in a 1016 with several gear ratios! It is unfortunate the Daiwa does not have a lower gear ratio version or a Z3030. 8-) Haha it would be funny if Daiwa just canned all models a...

Re: Skipping Rod for a Baitcaster
For short skips I found a shorter rod with a nice tip like the M1 6'9" great for getting that angle right. I use it fur skipping spinnerbaits under docks 10ft and burning back out. Works great with a little circular flick with the tip down. For longer distance I love a cranking rod like the x-10 to ...

Re: Stella FE vs Stella FI
Unless you fish saltwater, do you really need more than 70 yard of line? Even more capacity if you use braid. Just tape the mono backing to the spool and spool the braid on, no need to connect the mainline to the backing. No knot to catch during casting. I like the big power grip knob better than e...

Re: What is your finesse casting rod?
The Recon 2s ain't JDM or sport fancy features but what it does do is cast light, cast accurately and plenty if backbone.

Shimano Caenen 100 spool compatibility
Got a friend wishing to try out hedgehog finesse spools.
He has a Shimano Caenen 100.
Just wondering if the Caenan's spool is compatible with say a
Metanium '92, '97 or '05.
Thank you

True, I guess there are places that will make gears to spec. CNCs are pricey :-)Thor wrote:Where from? Good, old CNC technology. Gear cutting is easy.
