Re: The Highest Example – The Edge Epitome Rods from Gary Loomis
Sounds like a no nonsense high performance fishing tool. I like nonsense in my rods so I'll pass but I see the appeal.

Got the stick in. Took a few picks next to the Hyuga 72H. https://i.ibb.co/hWmNrb3/Screenshot-20220727-201442-Gallery-copy-1079x1764.jpg https://i.ibb.co/v3H3mVv/Screenshot-20220727-201414-Gallery-copy-1080x2097.jpg https://i.ibb.co/fF9DWYW/Screenshot-20220727-201317-Gallery-copy-1080x2157.jpg https...

Re: Now This Stick Is Legit : The Wild Side WSC72H+
I just bought one at full TW retail which I never do. I couldn't find it anywhere else especially Japan. I used the TT link to give them some ad revenue too. They only had 3 left and no where else had them. FOMO set in and full retail it was ](*,) I also have a purple lexa 300 I paid Tatula 300 mon...

Re: Souped Up : Aftermarket Bolt-On Reel Handles from Gomexus
Are there any Geomexus users who can share their experiences? I am particularly interested in the ones with the cork knobs. They are awesome for the money. I have both cork and non cork grip versions. The cork is not as soft as the rubber grips and need some sealer but it looks sharp. There are a f...

Re: Shimano SLX DC bird nesting
The biggest I use on my reels is 16# flouro and it casts like garbage. Worse than 20# big game mono. I would try switching to braid.

Re: Now This Stick Is Legit : The Wild Side WSC72H+
The answer to your question is in the article... "On the other end of that lure range, SeventyTwo-Plus's blank can realistically handle baits up to six ounces (6oz), but because its handle is so short at only eleven inches (11"), casting a 6oz bait is not a very sustainable. You just can'...

Re: Set to Destroy! Okuma’s Hakai Might Just Change How You View the Brand’s Baitcasters Entirely
I wonder if TW sent the wrong reel? Per Okuma the normal Hakai is centrifugal and this pic on TW shows a much deeper spool than what Zander got. They have three of the things so its confusing.

Re: Set to Destroy! Okuma’s Hakai Might Just Change How You View the Brand’s Baitcasters Entirely
I think Zander reviewed the Hakai Finesse or Pitching. Both have a rated 8/110 or 10/90 which puts it inline with the new Zillion with an 8/100 or 10/80 capacity. The spools also appear be nearly identical in depth and I assume is a 34mm diameter. The Hakai Finesse is also a mag brake reel according...

Re: Set to Destroy! Okuma’s Hakai Might Just Change How You View the Brand’s Baitcasters Entirely
Which Hakai is this? There is the centrifugal brake one, the finesse one and the pitching one. Does the centrifugal one not exist and that's a TW error?

Re: Rat Rumble: Fish the Sneaky!
What combo is Zander using to throw this rat in this article? Some time during 2020, Zander broke his Megabass Onager high sticking a fish into the boat. I took the two pieces, stripped all the parts and built him a new stick on the Point Blank Rods PB761XXHMF blank . He has it matched with a Shima...

Re: Evergreen's Latest Specialty Stick, the RCSC-78XH Wakebait
it is a swimbait stick.. big wakebaits are swimbaits... this is why i usually refer to swimbaits as "big baits" The taper is fine for punching but the rear handle is a bit long and I'm not sure the sensitivity is there unless you're using braid. I'll be using braid for punching. The handl...
