I’m looking at the St. Croix Legend Elite 7’6” MF (specifically the 2-piece version).

Any feedback on the rod? Great all-purpose rod? Excels in any particular technique?

I would use it for smallmouth in rivers and lakes.

Has anybody used the St. Croix Legend Glass 6’10” MHM for chatterbaits? I had the 7’11” but didn’t throw deep divers enough to warrant keeping it (I just couldn’t stand looking at a rod I never took out!). I’ve used the 6’10” MHM for all my cranking needs so far as well as poppers, but would like to...

That's a sweet rod! Good choice on the 10wt. for ski's. Definitely more versatile and less troublesome on the shoulders.

Talking with a buddy who has tried a few I'd lean 894c. I grabbed an 854c for my 1/2oz jig work since like you said, my 3 powered NRX had a 3/8 sweet spot. I was told the 894 has more power than the 854 and the 854 is a wicked 1/2oz jig rod. I thought about the 895 as well but was told it was a bro...
