Re: The most UNDER rated..

If that Corzza is anything like the MS-X 65ML (and having a cross force blank and SS/SiC K guides it should be) I think you'll be impressed with its casting distance and sensitivity. I've had that one for 2 or 3 years and it's great for precision casts with flick shakes, senkos, and finesse jigs. I...

Re: The most UNDER rated..

Oh man. Well, at the risk of sounding like a paid promoter, I have to say they are sublime. Thanks for the detailed write-up. I saw Major Craft was selling the Corzza line at ~$150 shipped and I was hemming and hawing over trying out a 6'5" ML. Pulled the trigger and now I'm just hoping I like it e...

Re: The most UNDER rated..

Megabass xti evolution series. These are stuck between the vaulted xfti that have better re-sale value due to collector interest and newer C40s that look exotic. But, xti are awesome and there seems to be a ton of them floating around used or barely used that can be had cheap. It's not as easy as f...

Extrapolating from the rest of the lineup, I read the first two "XS" models as spinning.

At 3/4 oz that may be possible, but I can't help but wonder how the action/running depth is impacted.

Re: Interesting Take on Drop Shot Knot

Awesome knot, super quick to tie and the hook stands straight out. I started using it last summer and haven't had any issues with 6 or 8 lb InvizX.

Re: What’s your 2019 Rod to have?

I really only need a Kistler H3 dropshot rod and a Ci4 2500. I'll probably get a 73H Zbone because I have a problem ](*,) If it helps, after fishing a Helium 3 7'0" ML paired up with a Stradic FK pretty frequently throughout 2018 I have nothing but good things to say about the combo, feels great an...

Looks like the Scorpion MGL will be a 150 size. A Curado/Scorpion 70 MGL would be a more interesting addition IMHO.

Re: Megabass levante

Really wish I needed another rod. Just got to tying up some NFC blanks I bought a few months ago I don't "need" a crankbait rod, but I don't yet have one. I have predominantly shorter rods, so I was thinking the Levante Launcher would cover both the "crankbait" and "crazy long" bases. I just need t...

Re: Spoon storage and hook swaps...

Love it! Just got a tenkara rod from tenkarabum and couldn't resist buying a couple of the 0.4g Daiwa Presso Vega spoons. No ultralight spinning gear to throw slightly larger spoons yet, I need to stop looking at this forum haha

Re: Aerosal Spray for Cleaning Bearings

And Shimano says no. So who' side is TT on anyway? I am seeing a conflict of claims and statements not being corrected. Tokugawa should "counter" this type of thing if Shimano says no. No means no. A company's recommendation for product X is not the same thing as saying only product X will work. Ca...

I think you may get this response verbatim for any solvent other than "a ------ ----- of ------- -----". Does Shimano recommend a soak in mineral spirits?
