Re: Anyone have any recent experiences with NFC?

No affiliation what so ever. Just my hard earned dollars spent with NFC that could go to anyone producing what NFC does. I’m sponsored by me 8-) Why would I need to be affiliated with NFC to call somebody for publically bashing a company for not going above and beyond their stated warranty practice...

Re: Anyone have any recent experiences with NFC?

Ok, clearly you aren’t used to how NFC rolls. Lol what a joke - nobody cares about your 89 perfectly received blanks, that's how things should go - we want to know what happens when things go wrong, and obviously NFC has a long and rich history of screwing their customers on that front. Lol, what a...

Re: Daiwa Steez A II TW gear swap

Correct. You only need the main gear and pinion gear, nothing else. The drag washers will swap from the old gear set to the new gear set.

Re: Are you using any Chinese manufactured reels?

The Piscifun Alloy M reel is a solid option. I wouldnt pay the $90 full price for it, but for the $66 shipped that I paid for it, its a good reel. It was never slick-smooth, but again, still a good reel for what I paid. I suspect that the lower ratio reels would be smoother. Mine is 8.4 ratio. Have...

Re: New Tatula is $100

What's the issue with the plastic top piece? If its made like the Zillion, the metal frame will be underneath it. All that plastic piece does is help you in cold weather. I had one on a zillion crack just putting the reel back together. I was able to repair it, but it should have never broken like ...

Re: ZPI back to making spools?

I kinda don't trust a brand that began selling some $70 noname reels for $300. How else are they to stay viable in today's climate? They made a huge mistake by going away from spools to begin with. Every spool they have ever made still brings a premium. Unfortunately, their absense from that niche ...

Re: New Tatula is $100

I wouldn't be interested but that spool looks a lot like the Elite Long Cast spool. That spool is just a standard Tatula inductor and spring fitted to a light weight G1 Duralumin spool and that apparently makes all the difference transforming it into an effortless caster and offering excellent cont...
