Re: New Poison Adrena
I think Im going to roll the dice on the 7'2"
I put a pxtr on the 6'11" and it balances just as good.
Its not in stock until the 30th Aug and even that's tentative

Re: Megabass Python Rods
I see that there’s an 8’1” rod and 7’6” rod but I could be mistaken about just them two. Seems like the both do the same thing and the shorter of the two is essentially a two piece rod Anyone using these rods and what are they best at ? I think one is no longer made but could be possibly found in J...

Re: Rods with the 'it' Factor
"IT" is different for everyone but one maybe two rods that have "IT' for me are St. Croix Legend Elite 7'4" Heavy rod is a great rod. I currently have a Daiwa Z on it. its one of the most comfortable and balanced rod. You can put just about any reel on it you want and it just is. I has a tip good fo...

Re: New Poison Adrena
So many rods so little time..
I called TWH
about the longer casting rods and the 7'"2 was suggested for worms and jigs.
So I am glad to hear that the longer rod has enough backbone too.

Re: Supertuning expectations
IMHO shallow spools save way more money. I have a Z that just today I spent $29.99 on line and it ate almost all of it ](*,) . With the remaining line ( 20lb floro) I’ll spool up a pitching reel with a shallow spool and get my monies worth. I absolutely hate left over line I can’t do anything with. ...

Re: Super tough bite! Help
I have had success on schooling smallies using a soft swimbait on a 3/4oz jighead. Count it down and reel it back with a painfully slow retrieve. Also, try a 1oz spoon. Get over top of the school, jig it at the depth they are holding at, and see if they respond to it. Ive seen so many videos on spo...

Re: Looking for a Frogging Rod
All great suggestions.. Thanks.
I have not even heard of the IMX-Pro 885 TWFR
I had and old IMX 844 , two of them actually and sold them for one Megabass Faust.
But I remember the 844's and I like them, regret selling them especially since I already had one Faust.

Lucky Craft LCM 701HXF-deep strike
Does ANYONE have this rod?
It says 7’ heavy X fast
1/2 - 2oz 8-30lb line
The action of this rod is weirdly. I’m thinking about trying chatterbaits on it but would love to use it for other things as well. If you have this rod, please give me some alternative uses for it.

Re: Looking for a Frogging Rod
I use a Kistler Helium3 7'HXF. It has just enough backbone but is probably not heavy enough for all types of cover. It weighs 4oz on the nose and is easy to use for long periods (unlike my St. Croix Premier 7'MHF which wore my wrist out, weighing 5.4oz). I use my Bantam for frogging since it's got ...
