Re: Spooling a Daiwa steez sv tws

You're supposed to start budget and work your way up so when you get a high end reel you appreciate it  Might as well get into limited edition Megabass now

Re: NRX 843C vs. SBR 813C for spinnerbaits

You're not going to upgrade from the 843 NRX for spinnerbaits up to 1/2 oz. If you're going to throw 3/4 or 1 oz get an 844 glx. They're both multi-purpose rods too

Re: SV103 for big baits?

I would buy an OG Zillion instead tbh, that reel throws large baits so well. And if you ever wanted to run straight mono or flouro you would have the capacity.

Re: Buying JDM reels...PayPal or CC?

I wouldn't worry about using a cc, I always use PayPal though. With some foreign transactions using a credit card through Paypal or without adds a 1-3% processing fee. If you link your Paypal to your bank account you can use it and avoid surcharges.

Re: Steez Ltd

I loved my Limited! Just be gentle with the finish. One of my fishing buddies has a Limited that's starting to look a little rough.

Such an awesome feature especially in a finesse reel. I wish it was more common

Re: What to expect Daiwa Alphas 105 Finesse Custom

I've noticed you can order one of these new from Japan almost as cheap as you can buy a used one. I haven't seen many available anymore anywhere. I think I'm the only one not all about the SV spool And has anyone upgraded drag on this reel before, or I guess any other Alphas if they're all the same...

IS 71 Hyper Lariat for me, that spool can be wild, but it really screams. For big baits OG Zillion.

Re: LC Staysee Ver. 2 vs Jackall Dowzvido 90

Have the Dowzvido. It's def unique and imo a better bait when the bite is tough, especially given that not many own it, so the bass don't see them often if ever.

Re: Is79 and rod overboard

That's a tough one...better than an IS :-k Personally I want to try a Steez TWS, but my favorites are my JDM 103 Steez reels. I owned the Hyper Lariat a few seasons back, and to me it was and is (no pun lol) the best reel out there. It's frustrating for sure. I was standing on a dock rail with the o...

No, it's not SV, it IS TW though.
Thanks Gary. I'm thinking non-sv jig reel...I actually want to try a T-wing as I don't have any reels with it.

Re: What to expect Daiwa Alphas 105 Finesse Custom

The Alphas SV spool is a cut above the rest of the SVs when it comes to distance yet is still BFS enabled and well controlled. I HIGHLY recommend it. LOL they're not bad I just prefer regular spools, I get better distance with them. I own an Alphas SV and have owned a Steez SV and a Steez Limited SV.
