Re: NEW: Daiwa Tatula 100 (based off Steez)
That is a quick way to get a great performing reel. I am still VERY impressed with my Zillion TWS DIY spool. After putting a full spool of 30lb braid on there it is a sledgehammer for any size lure. Wish they made them maybe just a tad (like 20 yards deeper) for a little bit heavier line. I honestly...

Re: Steez A Question
Thanks for all the replies, only bad review I found was a guy from BR (not a member there, read it from google) and he said the stabilizing pin just fell off his Steez A. Sold it for a Metanium MGL saying it felt "much smoother on retrieve" which was odd to me. I just have a deep fear of ordering a...

Re: Taper Characteristics of Different Rod Brands?
Dobyns seems a tad bit softer than St. Croix and Abu style rods, with maybe a tad deeper bend. I for this reason and considering a MH Dobyns rod because it is as soft as both my Abu and St. Croix Mediums with a bit better flex. Being a primarily fluoro fisherman, my 7'Medium Villain 2.0 rods are per...

Re: Braid with leader for crankbaits
I used to be a straight FC guy but, I tried braid to FC leader and...I love it. Feel the bottom so much better and get solid houses 25ft down on long line. I went out about 2 weeks ago and still haven't edited the video I did reviewing/talking about it. I have converted one Zillion TWS to braid (wi...

Re: Steez A Question

Gonna look more into the spools and change those paddle knobs. Cant wait to try it out. Is yours a JDM Steez A also??? I just got my Paypal account...

Re: sticky inductor ??
You know, after the second time I read about your issues, I thought maybe it isn't the spool. I had a Tatula Type R the would cast perfect most of the time and then just go 20 feet and line everywhere. I had a bit of grit/dirt around the spool lip. Never heard the scratching or grinding like other t...

Re: OG Steez vs Steez TW
How is the drag on the Steez A and Steez SV TW different??? I assume the A uses 2 plates and the SV has a multi stack with maybe eared washers???
Also, is the OG steez the same frame as the Steez SV or SS/SV???

Re: NEW: Daiwa Tatula 100 (based off Steez)
I havent been to batesville in a few years. The last time i was there was playing music at a wedding reception downtown at an old place that someone turned in to kind of a "cool old rustic vibe/kinda high price" place. It was rather cool i must say lol Its not a bad town. I NEVER liked fishing when...

Re: Steez A Question
Thanks for all the reply, guys. I am totally new to the spool game. Is there a noticeable difference between the steez sv spool and the zillion sv to justify the price? Good question, I need to know this too, I'm okay with having a Zillion SV TW spool in a Steez A, just still not sure I shouldn't g...

Re: Steez A Question
I have a Steez A 7.1 coming in next week and would like to know where most of you are getting your G1 1016 SV spools? Japantackle I would have a problem buying the Steez RCS 1016 for around $100-120. I think it is just BARELY lighter than the Zillion SV TW G1 spool. Now if I were stepping up to the...
