Oh, sorry...it's a good bit longer that my stock DC100 handle. Has Shimano decided to sell the DC250 knobs separately yet?

The DC250 handle will fit it...longer, bigger knobs, I love it on my DC100. 8-)

Are you saying the new Stella 1000FD has a body that is actually smaller than earlier 1000 models? I did find it to be a very nice, surprisingly small and extremely smooth little reel....a significant amount of slobbering did occur. 8-)

You've seen it before but this is my favorite tricked out Shimano...you can't see the TG bearings but they're in there...the Septon Power knobs that you can't buy separately are special too...they came from my Conquest 50 handle.
