Re: Anyone tried DIY spools? $29-$40 BFS spools!
Nice review! And nice fishes and also nice stream! Luckily you have much better situation with Seatrout in Denmark than we have in Finland. Hoping so that situation will better in a future also in here. Obvious bearing in MOMO’s spool is not best of best :) But of course it can be changed. It’s also...

Re: Daiwa Reel Resources?
to use the og steez spool inside a t3 you need to remove the brass shim underneath the bearing of your palming side plate Do you mean that part No. 18 has to be removen from T3 if Steez 103 spool is used with it? And if so, then obviously also from SV Zillion is needed to be removen part No. 11 if ...

Re: Zillion HLC
Thanks. I checked that brake rings – those are OK and those moves as should. Probably I just have issue with this thick and stiff (0.40 mm) line which was just spooled to reel. In fact I don’t have casted many times with any mono / baitcaster combination for 20 years. Maybe this reel would behave be...

Re: Zillion HLC
Hi, Anybody have casting with old HLC, is that HLC Magforce very special? (Yes, much stronger spring of course, but anything else?) Should it still behave somehow normal? My feels is like that there is virtually no Magforce at all. I purchased one old HLC Zillion from Ebay. It was good price because...

Re: Anyone tried DIY spools? $29-$40 BFS spools!
^ Yep, that's 100% true, but I'm just poor Finnishman and for me Made in Japan Honeycomb spool would cost too much - sorry! But it's not my fault, it's my boss fault and Finnish tax rates too... And I have to say that Chinese / Taiwanese people has done good enough work with spool. Not even bearings...

Re: Anyone tried DIY spools? $29-$40 BFS spools!
ZPI's sounds good to me if Chinese (or Taiwan?) spool is not option. Price; who describes what's too much or too little. It's seller and buyer and if both are happy then price was good. I wanted really light spool for my SV Zillion and find one and price was OK for me and spool works even better tha...

Re: Tatula 100 impression??
Tatula CT Type-R casts wery good and there's much reel for that price. I haven't compared it to more expensive reels, but it casts Savage Gear 3D Line-Thru Sandeel (15 cm / 27 g) approx 90 m, which is generally enough even in case seatrout fishing from shore.

Re: ?? Tatula 100, 150, 200 sizes compared to original and CT
Yep, HD200 has as deep spool as possible to provide big line capacity. And this medium sized reel has great line capacity. (Capacity is not much smaller than 13 fishing concept a3 which is a big reel.) And because of that fixed inductor is the only one that could be installed to HD200.

Re: Anyone tried DIY spools? $29-$40 BFS spools!
Hello! I have bought couple of relatively cheap Chinese finesse spools from Ebay. Reel is Daiwa Zillion SV TWS. First one finesse spool was RAY's Studio BFS SPOOL, approx. 10 g with bearing. It is spooled with 0.12 mm Spiderwire stealh smooth (maybe 50 meters or less). It casts well more than 7 g (d...
