Re: Ordering from Plat
I would estimate $35-60 from previous single rod invoices from him. And if you get hit with duty, expect to pay between $20-35 for $450j2015 wrote:What can I expect to pay for shipping for a 450$ rod 6'11" rod

My Diawa Racing Design AGS rods is my top dogs right now.
So sensitive, I can feel the bass looking at my lure as I move it. And (when dead sticking) I can pickup/feel background noise (cosmic microwaves) emanating from the Big Bang throughout the bank, Lol.

Re: Megabass IP79 for swimbaits
Nothing too big just up to 4oz? I dont know what people are throwing for bass these days but anything past 3 oz is pretty heavy let alone 4oz, and above. As for the IP79: you're pushing, if not exceeding its capabilities for lures 3-4 ounces, especially for a high speed reel. I think you're better o...

Re: New Steez rods
Does anyone who owns the RD rods or any rods with the ags guides have any issues with durability of the guides with good "normal"use and care? I have the USD AGS STZ711MHXB and I haven't had any issues. However, Ive heard the epoxy on the guides cracking from a couple anglers. I personally. think i...

Re: New Steez rods
Bringing this one back. Any new reviews or thoughts on the racing design rods? You read my mind, This needed a bump  Ok, had a chance to subjectively test the rods out (for sensitivity only) over two outings :D But I haven't completed my testing; I need one or two more outings and a ...

Re: Dropshot foulups
I didn't know catching bass was a problem :D You might want to be more attentive around smallies. Bring them up as quickly as you can, so they dont tangle up your rig. I don't know what type of drop-shot rig youre using, but the drop shot rig I use rarely tangles up. I think, your answer might be a ...

Sensei T.Ogawa will typically send more than one email, up next will be your Paypal invoice, if you haven't already got it. Dont worry, hes a bit slow with invoices, but rest assured your order will be completed, once he get paid, of course. And be aware, he only ships on Fridays. If in doubt about...

Re: Does anyone put wax on their reels?
Yup, 10 amp 7" Makita polisher and Meguiars deep crystal does the the trick.
Ok, Im just kidding.
I didn't know so many anglers waxed their fishing gear. It really never crossed my mind. Interesting.
