Does anyone else find it interesting that he is sponsored by Megabass but fishes solely Shimano reels?

Re: What a Concept! 13 Fishing's Concept-A Reel
Mcyl, are you sure that the 13 Reels are made by Banax? There are not many similarities (if any at all) superficially compared to the reels you posted above. Are the internals the same?

](*,) ](*,) this entire diatribe is pure conjecture - i dont cast that way - I will need more proof . Please re-edit every sentence so it reads - I theoretically believe...blah, blah, blah---- until such proof is provided  I get it now- you just like holding others to standards you dont/cann...

They must have decided the rods were too good of a deal at old price.Gone Phishin wrote:Does anyone have any insight why this rod jumped up $100 in one bound?

Re: Autopsy: Meshing with Savage Gear's 3D Line Thru Trout
Nice! Might try these for pike and tiger muskie Hard to find a tough soft bait. Sucks have $25 hudds destroyed with one fish. How much are they going to be on tw? Thanks I don't know about you, but I've never had good luck with large pike/muskie and large soft lures. The fish have such strong tooth...

Re: 2013 Bait-the-Finesse Finale : Daiwa T3 Air
I'm surprised about the need for a lot of thumbing. Unless I was looking wrong I saw a video on YouTube that a guy appeared to be casting a 3.8 gram lure with no thumb. The details said it was going 97 feet. I was under the understanding the sv spools used the same inductor as the air. One of the s...

Re: Phenix Adds to their Heavy Powered Arsenal : The M1 MX72
The math in the "Quality" Table doesn't add up. Should be 15 out of 19:
Finish (1-5)
Grip (1-5)
Epoxy (1-5)
Blank (1-2)
Guides (1-2)
Total
Possible
Rating (= Tot/Pos * 10)
4
3
4
2
2
=
16 (should be 15)
19 (possible)
8.42 (should be 7.89)
Just an FYI.

Re: Daiwa's New Workhorse Has Thoroughbred Tendencies : Tatu
Got mine from TW today. I'm just about to pull it apart and add four bearing. Interestingly no bearing on the spool, big change for Daiwa. Don't remember the review talking about it not have the standard Daiwa speed spool design, maybe I missed. I think we all missed that shame on Daiwa [-X I'm sur...

Re: Daiwa's New Workhorse Has Thoroughbred Tendencies : Tatu
the tatula spool looks wider than all of those others mentioned. as stated in the review, line comes off the top of the spool easier...i think that's why the pitching performance of the shimano E-series was so good. Exactly. How the weight is distributed makes a big deal. A shallow spool will behav...
