Re: Point Blank Rods BFS Build
I built my UL casting rod with AT CCT Apex spinning seat. It's very comfy. That light rod doesnt need trigger imo. Same deal only cleaner! Nice job MardukFIN! =D> That’s really unique You used a spinning reel seat for bait casting purposes. What do you think are on the two builds I showed? Th...

Nice build. Please tell us more on your experiences of that blanks performance. I have seen people reduce the trigger length but never fully removed it. I built my UL casting rod with AT CCT Apex spinning seat. It's very comfy. That light rod doesnt need trigger imo. https://i.imgur.com/sMYDmWr.jpg

Nice! This is awesome. I mostly using magnesium framed reels and this test supports my thoughts.

Re: Looking for a swim bait rod 2-5 oz
Strange... I’ve put my Onager through a great deal of use and abuse and haven’t had an issue. 🤷♂️ Zander recently broke his after a year’s worth of use but he was high sticking a fish in his excitement. Now when you're familiar with secret art of rodbuilding, you should try American Tackle Bushido...

Re: American Tackle G2 Carbon Handles
I've built both. What you want to know? Theres arbor inside in every part. Very easy to install, if you use those AT own winding checks. Fits mostly reelseats. These aren't light as CFX or Batson grips are, but very nice. How's the texture on those handles? I assume it's smooth, but is it like a sl...

Re: A Masterpiece - Shimano's Metanium MGL 150B Baitcaster
Just got this reel last week. Have to say it's VERY impressive reel as I'm a huge Daiwa fan. Long casting, solid and quite small when palming. And those brass gears are lovely! =D> https://i.imgur.com/oVVgNOS.jpg https://i.imgur.com/J1Q2UxK.jpg https://i.imgur.com/1VLlCs1.jpg https://i.imgur.com/NDm...

Re: American Tackle Components
New carbon grips are ok. Good looking, quite light (without own winding checks). I've built several. Full and split grips. Very easy to assemble as theres own arbor inside grip already. They are slippery, if you have slimy hands. Only water doesn't make it very slippery. New CCT seat are awesome! R...
