How can I get one? Really like the purple one.

Wanted to know if anyone has any info on someone having some kind of deal on Memorial day sales. I want to get this rod but want to see if I can get a deal before paying regular price.

.....My guess is that Daiwa will probably introduce a 200 size Tatula for this year at ICAST. All they need to do with the Tatula is come out with a deep spool version. If they did that, it would hold 200 yds. of 12# mono(or around 100 yds. of 20# Big Game 8-[ ). I'm just sayin',..... :whistle: If ...

I have a sol and the purple alpha and won't give them up. Great reels and I use them for all kinds of techniques. Great for crankbaits, senko, jigs, and t-rigs. I upgraded my purple alpha to a 6.8 gears and love it. You will be surprised what this little reel can handle.

I was looking at the Champion swimbait 795.

What does everyone use their Dobyn 795 besides swimbaits? I was wondering how it would work for dragging jigs, flipping, punching, and t-rigs?

Wish it was some other color besides red and black.

I have it and don't have any complaints about the way it works. I just wish the handle was longer.I have even looked at getting another one. Enjoy your new reel.

I don't have either of those rods but I have the 893 and love it. I use it for 3/8oz, 1/2oz jigs, senkos, and skinny dippers. It is a great rod and for such a soft tip I haven't had any problems pulling some 5-10lb bass out of lily pads. It feels really light but it is a very powerful rod. Maybe you...
