Re: Ned Rig

Just one man's experience.
I have fished ned rig vs 3 inch senko nail weighted interchangeably
and the senkos outfish the ned by a wide margin.

Im sure the ned rig is great, and could be better in certain applications
(not any I have found personally...), but I just don't understand the hype yet.

Re: Which is your favorite rod company?

Its been several years, but after some very poor customer service experiences with other big name rod makers, Gary Dobyns has the majority of my business. I will not go as far as to say Dobyns rods are the end all... I'm sure most manufacturers produce a quality high end product, but the trump card ...

Alphas sv ranging between 185-200 usd new are a pretty good option. Original pixys can be found in decent condition pretty cheap if you are patient.

Re: New Lucky Craft Silent 1.5 Square Bill

I picked up a couple, they run true and seem to have the same wobble as the more expensive version. Colors are limited, and the paint jobs don't seem as flashy, but given how many square bills I lose in a season, the price is right.

most of the time, its 8 or 10 lb invisx.
Has a little more stretch than other hard
fluoros which I like on my treble baits.

That's why my local tackle shop had them all discounted...
I picked up a bunch at $2 a jar. Glad I did, even if its just
for nostalgic purposes.
