Omegas new X head..
concave head design so the bait fits snug and has a double retention band either for a SB or double skirts or combination of both..

It has been many years since I bought a Diawa reel, but I'm tempted by this reel.

Re: Best ratio for all purpose CB rod

I prefer 5.7.1 for squarebills mid cranks... 5.1.1 for deeper cranks..

Oh I agree 100%. I just prefer faster, 8:1+ gears for certain heavy duty applications.

Re: New Steez TW ALUMINUM for 2017 !

I still find it interesting that they are coming out with a "heavy duty" Steez, but aren't offering it in an 8:1+ Gear Ratio... 8.1.1 Doesnt mean its not heavy duty... They cant get the gears in there right now from what Ive been told... I WANT an 8.1.1 for flipping so Ill just keep my LTDs up for ...

Re: New Steez TW ALUMINUM for 2017 !

Aluminum steez, deep spool, mag Z brakes, 90mm handle... I'm digging it. Hopefully comes in a 7:1 or 7:3 ratio rather than/in addition to the faster 7:9-8:1 we've seen lately. Wonder if If it has brass gears? :-k These could replace my chronarch D's for cranking... will prob be in the 7.1/7.3 range...
