HM means high modulus like a glx IM intermediate modulus like a imx SM standard modulus. I'd go with the hm for that price. as for which flipping stick to get just go with the lure weight your gonna use. Still can't decide what to get myself.

I was thinking the 704 also. sigh so many blanks so little time and money. The only blank I can tell you about is the ds 761 hm I made into a baitcaster which is a joy to fish and is my dropshot and flickshake deal.

I like gliss,it is quieter and casts better than braid just not as durable and will start fraying after awhile. I even used some 24lb for light punching last year for a couple of months when I ran out of braid. it worked fine with 1/2 oz tungsten and 2/0 punch hook until my line sawed off over a bra...
