Re: Best "dog-walk" topwater lure?
Anyone else tried Cultiva's Zipp'in Ziggy?
Great baits, caught a ton of Bass when I was in Az. But the built quality's doubtful, bounce it off afew jetties and they take on water and there goes the internal moving balancer.
Cheers

Re: Megabass Z-Cranks
One last thing I picked up some Japanese baits I don't know much about called Zenith Jr D. I think that I read somewhere they were good and they look nice. 2/$10 got me on these boys. Snidley Zenith? Yep, they're fairly good baits - they have Z-Bite shallow runner that looks like a Griffon on steri...

Megabass Z-Cranks
Have 2 of each (balsa/natural wood - as oppose to artificial wood? ). I do not fish enuf, so everytime I am on the water I go for the time tested/proven stuff first and have not had the opportunity to really fish them long enuf to be definitive 'bout their effectiveness. They throw and swim pr...

Re: Why grease Carbontex washers?
Besides what ChuckE and Cal mentioned, I also find that a little grease will reduce/delay corrosion should you get any water intrusion. Plus, with water intrusion the grease will repel water absorbtion by the washers thus maintaining most of the drag performance, at least for awhile longer than if w...

Re: 'Other' JDM Pack rods
Wantthat2, I got both. Like you I was so enamoured by the baitcasting model that i ordered the spinning. Great action and ok enough for the sensitivity, but I would rate the spinning version just a shade below the baitcasting Sakura for o'all performance...JMH(unscientific)O. Nevertheless, I love bo...

Re: sayonara Ginrinpeche?
With all the integrity, expertise and inside sources available on this forum, a simple question. What is the typical percentage markup from manufacturers cost to retail price? Even easier, the price for a Daiwa Exist Steez 2004 on Japan Tackle is $649.00 USD. What is the cost? Well, I can reply wit...

JA, I normally would not respond to one of your posts but that changes today. First, you have seldom missed an opportunity to bash, belittle, disparage and disrespect the vendor in question. No, they are not perfect, few businesses are, however, there are some satisfied customers, if not you. Secon...

Best people to deal with, and your rods are meticuliously bubble wrapped and "tubed". Buy with confidence.

My M-ito 103 L
Thanks to JapanTackle, after waiting for almost 3 years they have found a brand new M-ito 103 Lefty for me. Since this is a fresh water only reel, chances are its not gonna see any action (I normally use all my gear but for this one I am gonna make an exception). Just curious though, aesthetics/EAS ...

For me it is the AR for it's better palmability. Otherwise both are great reels.
