Sunline Defier. For me it has been the best performing line for moving baits (cranks, top water, spinner baits, etc).

I have the 200 and 100 size. If the Calais is a bit big the 200 will be a bit big.

I have small hands and can palm the 100 Calcutta / Conquest with no problems.

You will like the Conquest 100. (IMO it is a better reel than the Calais). But I like the round Shimano's.

You can change the 100 & 200 with no problems. With the 50 you need to change the one on the spool behind the spool pin. That can be a problem without a pin tool.

Their are 2 bearings on the spool that mater on a TD-Z. One on the spool (5x11x4) and one in the palm side held in with a clip (3x8x4).

The combo that Mhood has is an absolutely lovely setup if you want to catch the fish from the 100 gal tank in my library.

It is a nice set up, just not what I would call a bass rod. The reel is great (I worked on it).
