Well this all makes me feel a little better about my burial instructions. I asked that I be buried with my two 301 spools, one in each hand, and it's good to know ya'll will be okay without them.

All my Pixzillas are Daiwas but there's nothing like a Conquest or a DC7 Calais.

250DC handles on all my Conquests, 100DC, 100, 50.

I have a Sol with a Pixy spool. Does it count?

I have Conquests (50 mainly), Pixzillas (2003) and DC7 Calais mostly. I've been watching for something that might motivate a change but nothing has moved me in a long time. Maybe if someone would make a new orange reel....

I went with 250DC handles (they also fit Conquests) and love them.

You can still get Hula Poppers in a variety of sizes for around $5.00. They definitely "bloop".

Lots of folks don't consider 1/4 oz. a light w8. Compare them at 1/8 oz.

Heavier use is what the Pixzilla is all about. I have one with a Sol drag stack that will completely lock down the drag mounted on a MB Destroyer 711, It's awesome.

Daiko is no longer making rods. You would need to find a used or old stock one.
