Re: Falcon boxes.

I use about 15 different FTO boxes and like them a lot. I have all my hard baits, spinnerbaits, and hooks/weights stored in them and I really like them a lot better than the Planos I used to use. Plus they are small and dont take up any unnecessary room in the boat.

Re: Cumara/Crucial/Mossyback

I held a Cumara today, didn't pay much attention to the model, but man it felt sweet. SUPER light and looked really good. They felt a lot better than the Mossybacks IMO. They are definitely on my short list...should be awesome with the Core

Re: New Rod need help picking a reel.

I use the 6'6'' version, I bought it from Cal after he reviewed it. I have a Ch100B on it and use it for Spinnerbaits, jerkbaits and Spooks. I like it a lot for what I use it for, I've really never tried any other lures on it but I doubt it would disappoint.

Re: My New Defective Kistler Rod or Typo

Don't worry, they are durable. Rod tips break all the time, no matter what brand they are. Hell, if it breaks, send it back, they will take care of you. I use Kistlers almost exclusively and the only time I break them is when I'm being careless with them, or have a good beer buzz and turn into Heman.

Yep, nothing sucks worse than waiting for a $200+ rod for a week, then opening it up like a kid at Christmas, only to find out its broken!!

Re: p-line cxx

I use CXX for everything but deep jigs and T-Rigs, then I use Seaguar Invisx Flourocarbon. It has quite a bit of stretch to it but it has never bothered me. Abrasion resistance is one of the strong points with this line. I have also never had a problem with its sensitivity, though like I said, I rea...

Re: Anyone have a Revo Premier yet?

Ah-ha, I buy locally so I wouldn't know.......I checked Ebay for the Premier and saw it going for $200 NIB.....once again, not really near the door of an MG7, unless $70-80 is pocket change to you.

Re: Rod for Calcutta TE-100GT...

I havent used one of their Spinnerbait rods, so I cant help you there. Have you thought about a Shimano Crucial? They are good rods and they make a 6'6'' M that looks pretty good. It is made with their TC4, which is for cranking or spinnerbaiting. It also has similar ratings to the 6'3'' Loomis........

Re: If the Curado 200 was a little bit smaller.....

Although the new Curado 200s are big reels, they have never once felt too big OR uncomfortable to me. I bet they would sell a lot more of them if they were a little smaller though.

Re: Anyone have a Revo Premier yet?

They do look like very nice little reels...but for their price($250ish), you're knocking on the door of a Metanium Mg7...and it'd be real hard for me to choose the Premier over an Mg7..considering their both lightweight baitcasters with heavy-duty gearing, etc. Just my thoughts.. Justin Aren't the ...

I haven't used a Core but the 50MG works great for the lures you mentioned......The Calais 100A would be my first recommendation if you can swing that price..

Those look tasty, I've always wanted to try an LT, now I think I will. Anyone know when they will start being stocked in stores?

Re: Boat Question?

I would also go with an older Fiberglass boat. You could get an 18-20 footer for a good price and I think you'd like it alot better than a Tracker....Also, Tritons didn't come along until 1998 I believe
