Re: Phenix Feather
Has anyone tried the 7'1 Medium Feather? Also anyone know how it compares to the 7'2 Medium M1 as far as sensitivity goes? I've fished the 7'2 M1 a lot this past year, and just really like the blank itself, but just debating whether I should just get a custom M1 or give the Feather a try.

Re: Meiho Tackle Storage
These boxes look like some high quality grade. I'm looking to replacing my 3600 plano's, do you happen to know which tackle boxes are about the same size of the 3600 plano's? I'm looking for one that can store my terminal tackle, one for hard baits, and one for jigs and general purpose. Thanks in ad...

Re: Favorite drop shot set ups
For a more traditional drop shot set up with the exposed hook I like the following set up: Rod: Megabass Orochi XX Drop Shot Rod Reel: Daiwa Tatula LT 2500 Line: 15# Power Pro with 6# Sunline FC Sniper top shot Hook: size 2 Gamakatsu split shot/drop shot hook Weight: Depends how deep I'm fishing and...

Re: Backing for braid on spinning reels?
If using electrical tape, just use enough to cover the spool with 1 layer. I haven't tried using an arbor knot, but have just tied a uni knot and haven't had any issues. As long as the braid has something to grab onto, you'll be fine.

Re: fuego spin reels
Has anyone had their Tatula LT or Ballistic LT become Geary after short use ? I've taken it out for a few outings and have been using it exclusively when I need to use spinning gear, and have caught quite a number of bass on it up to 5 pounds. So far it's still performing great for me. I've read th...

Re: Shimano Curado DC
With the Curado DC, is there no internal dial setting to choose between Braid, Nylon, and Fluorocarbon lines anymore, and all just controlled externally via the brake settings?

If you're looking for rods in that price range, I'd also take a look at the Phenix Feather rods as well.

Re: Wacky Worm Rigging Question ?
There's no difference in hooking percentage on the fish when using O rings for me at least. With the hook exposed and being light wired, the fish will usually hook themselves and I just need to reel into them. I mainly use O rings so I don't lose the worm and can use it again.
