Wanted to know in what reel would a T3 spool fit in and make it better. Would it work in a TD-Z?

How much should I look to pay for a TD-Z 103H or a TD-Z type R?

Have $300 to spend on a new reel but not sure what to buy. I've been looking at a T3 but then I'm looking at one of the older TD-Z reels. I have a TD Alpha and love it so I was looking at one of the JDM reels. Maybe even a shimano scorpion. What would you guys buy if you had $300 to spend.
