YoZuri, no more?
Is YoZuri Hybrid line not going to be made anymore? I have noticed my local BPS is not carrying it anymore, and its on sale at Tackle Warehouse.

Re: Handle Knob Upgrade(50Mg7's)
The bigger grips are definitely a plus. I use the Shimano knobs on all my reels, of course they all have Hawg Tech handles on them. Yes, even my Daiwa Zillions. I know, its against all that is right.

Re: Revo Beast takes Best Freshwater Reel Icast 2014
I actually don't really care who took this award. I like the Conquest and Zillion over the Beast personally. Seeing people's responses on here reminds me of when I try to talk to my wife about fishing tackle and Tackle Tour. She says "That's so cute! You take fishing and make it nerdy." That's all ...

Re: reel advances
I am sure that competition must be a factor, but IMHO the technological advancement in computer generated design, and machining has been the main reason. This together with new materials that allow lighter stronger and smoother operation of reels, has helped develop what we now use. I just pray tha...

Re: New Zillion - We want info!
I just want to chime in on this whole ridiculous conversation of "drag" for hooksets. Now, Im not taking either side, but I will say that both have a strong point.......however, the rod to me would be the more important of the 2 and this is why. Would you rather the rod be the right stiffness and sa...

Re: Lew's VS Shimano
OK, I see that you are a shore fisherman. LOL, sometimes I sit here and read about people buying $1000 rod and reel combos and such, then talking about distance, and the whole time I think to myself "with some of that crazy money spent, they should have bought a boat", lol. I don't know, just me and...

Re: Lew's VS Shimano
OK, I really got to know why soo many people are so concerned with being able to cast 40-50yds. Maybe its just me, but I would be more concerned about line control so as not to backlash. I mean, I read this forum and this is all you guys talk about. I would imagine that you wouldn't want to throw a ...

Tell me about it. De De De! I put everything back last night. I thought maybe the guy I had bought the reel from swapped the gear, lol. I was drinking when I was doing this.fishingandfords wrote:LgMouthGambler wrote:Yes, it is black. Hmmm...thought it was plastic, lol.
