I use the Bass Pro LP covers. I slit them for the line. Do just fine keeping reels from getting beat up in the rod locker.

My favorites are Berkley XT and Suffix Siege. Just started with the Siege this year, have fished XT for many years now. Next year ALL my spinning reels will get Siege, casting reels I'm sticking to XT.

I hope they don't give up on it just yet, I just bought my first one and need to find out how much I really like it. I'm used to the HSTA's and have a few Tatula's also but this Zillion feels really nice so far!
