I'm having the same problem. I'm going to take a dremel to mine and make the hole a bit wider. That should do the trick.

I honestly have always felt my drags were smoother dry. I stopped using Cals altogether now.

I happened to be reading the Type R reviews on TW and saw this. I just thought it was funny and worth sharing. I'm sure it completely 'seized up', because reels do that all the time :lol: Comments: this is the worst reel i have ever owned its not smooth at all the bearings were broken after 10 trips...

I believe the TD Trail is the 100M. So all options are the same as the other TDZ's, except the spool. It has the same spool size as the Zillions and Fuegos.

I just purchased an Alphas Ito from David since I missed not having one of these bad boys in my arsenal. The reel was shipped fast and David was very responsive.

Thanks for the pictures. Thats very interesting. I would have bet money they were the same frame and sideplate. I'm going to have to disect mine now to see what the differences are in the frames and sideplates.

They are different sized frames and have different sideplates? Do you have any pictures of differences in the sideplates and/or frame?
