Factory, I've been using my Evergreen TKDC-66ML-Spiral the past couple of years. Pair it with an SX Morrum and it's been money.
Same reel on a custom PB661L cut down to 6' has been fun as well.

Spool is super shallow, lol.
Was tossing a 1/16 oz hair jig and came down to the knot every time.
Solid performer

Re: Longer cranbait rods
Thank you both for your reply. The biggest deep crankbait I use the Deep X-300. I like the the look of the F6-711XX Launcher. I read more about the Evergreen StrikeMaster77, it has a fast action so I ruled it out. From the older rods I was looking at the F5-711x F5-711X ‘Seven Eleven Cyber Shootist...

Re: outdated legendary tackle
Can anyone give me some tips to figure out how to cast my morrum sx1600c hi-speed? There's no brake adjustments on the side plate and no brake blocks on the spool... just two (friction?) pins. She casts light weight lures a little too well and produces the most unpickable birds nests. https://i.img...

Is it the ES70MF or ES70MLF? Body and description of article describes the MLF.

Re: Shimano 50/51 Calcutta Owners, Reel Seat Question
Check the foot of the reel and see if it itself is not loose.
I had the same issue, with a different reel. No matter what rod I put it on, the reel felt loose. Come to find that the foot is loose where it joins the reel and rivet :'(

Re: Shimano’s Curado K Baitcaster : More than Black and White
It's been confirmed to be made of brass. TTT has conversio kits for the Met based reels as the K gears fit.mark poulson wrote:Is the main gear brass?
