Re: Pop Max
I just got a White Python bait and haven't tossed it yet. I can't wait.

Re: "Mag" BFS Casting Rod Input
I can cast 1/8oz on my original Lightning Rod 5'6" M with my Morrum SX1600C Hi-Speed. Any quality blank of a mod-fast action is capable with the right reel, IMO. An '1/8 oz' as in an 1/8 oz jighead and 4 inch plastic or a true 1/8 oz bait like a 2 inch long Reble Teeny Pop R? I cast baits an 1/8 oz...

Re: Power Pro Super Slick 8
Honestly, I love the Super Slick 8 carrier. I use it on my spinning setups with a fluoro leader. It's pretty dang nice stuff. I've used regular PP, 832 and something else, but i keep coming back to S8S.

Re: "Mag" BFS Casting Rod Input
Even a 4" weightless Senko is a 1/4oz minimum, any M rod and decent reel can easily cast it. I don't understand the goal here.

Wanting to upgrade bearings/handle
The reel is an Ambassadeur Morrum SX1600C Hi Sp and I'd like to upgrade my spool bearings to Abec 5 or 7 sealed bearings. I can cast 1/8oz as it is but i just want the smoother, faster upgraded bearings. What part numbers or bearing sizes am I looking for and a distributor. Also, the reel has a stra...

Morrum SX1600C Hi Sp
I just got my first Morrum SX1600C Hi Sp and was curious what spools were available to make the reel a little lighter and slightly less capacity. The box claimed 20lb/200yds. No way in hell that's fitting, but I'm looking to fill with 8lb Hybrid and slap it on my Phenix M1 ML. Any suggestions or is ...

Re: Considering a baitcaster finally.
If given a choice, I prefer Shimano's braking system slightly more than Abu Garcia's system. I am probably the only man alive who does not like Magforce Z at all.

Re: Curado 71 or Chronarch MGL?
Have 20 on my reels now. It works well and is easier to pick out than mono in the event of a professional overrun.

Re: Curado 71 or Chronarch MGL?
Awesome, I'm considering 20lb PP on mine and running an 8lb Hybrid leader when I feel it's needed. Am I off base here?

Re: Curado 70xg spools
Search DIY Curado 70 spool on google. I found some results for Ray's Studio and Aliexpress. They might be one in the same, I have never purchased a BFS spool... I am assuming you are hunting a BFS or just a lighter all purpose spool? I know the 70 does have a rather heavy spool for a little guy, ri...

Curado 70xg spools
Are there any readily available light spools for the 70? I've looked a little and nothing jumped out at me. Thanks!
