Re: What size all-around line do you use for big baits?
Sounds reasonable. I'm sure your choice of 22 Armilo will do just fine. Only one way to find out...

Re: mend it bait glue
I find for torn baits in the boat that a battery operated soldering iron works best. It is instant and does a good job for repairs. I am not talking about the battery operated tools sold with a wire bit for repairs. I am talking about a soldering iron with some heat to it. The only take a half a mi...

Re: Spinning Reel Line Uncoiling -- How to Solve?
I am using 8-lb and 10-lb fluorocarbon line, Seaguar Tatsu, on 2500 and 3000 Stradic CI4 reels. My problem is that I am getting line uncoiling on the spool. Any tips or suggestions to correct this problem would be greatly appreciated. Sir, your problem is you have too much line on the spool. The pr...

Re: Nice leader knot
Meh, I went to the FG for a while, and returned to the Albright. The only place I can see the FG outperform the Albright with any kind of actual measurable performance would be with very heavy flouro leader, say 30lb and up. The reason is the doubled tag end of the leader material with Albright, an...

Depends if your swimbait is truly a wakebait or not. If it is, braid might be your best bet, otherwise you're on the right track.

I got a mammoth chuckle out of this, but if you're being serious, I believe the answer is yes. Go eat those eggs.

Re: Lexa 100 noise
I'm pretty sure this thread is supposed to be about the Lexa 100 reel, not each other. Why don't you two PM each other and work out your differences? BucketHunter was simply coming to your defense, that's all. Can't fault a man for being a stand up guy. That said, I agree with your end assessment. ...

Re: two more vision 110 imitations are here
Interesting perspective. I try new items if they fancy me, such as Livingston's products, but I'm on the fence at the moment. I don't get the feeling they offer anything special thus far. Ordinary action, decent quality is about all I'm willing to give. I'm curious if anyone disagrees. Maybe I'm mis...

Re: Decoy snaps
I just looked at the Tactical Anglers Power Clips. I am not a fan of the pointed ends. This will limit the lure's freedom of movement, not a good option for baits like cranks and jerkbaits. It will slightly tighten up the action. Pictures may not do justice for the product. It is more flattened ova...
