I use this to add signature to my rods too.

I use CLR for bearings and metal gears.
I use simple green for everything else.

I just use a small layer of plumbing teflon tape for backing.

Conquest 50 is little small for jerkbaits but doable. It's pretty good for light topwaters though.
I prefer 100TE for jerbaits.

I love my Calais 200DC.

I use 20# sufix832 braid. This is equivalent to 6# trilene mono.
For some application, I put 2 feet of fluoro as the leader.
It's been working great with this setup.

40-50lb braid is a little too heavy for the reel.
Try 30lb Sufix832 or PP Slick8 and U will notice the difference.
If casting distance is a concern, try 20lb braid.

What about those 2 persons voted for Pinnacle? What good about this brand. I never owned one before and really like to know.
